Carl's Take:

I need to ask you a couple questions: Are you a DJ? Do you love great house? Then Tim Richards' "Pick N Roll" is for you! With great drum lines and clean-cut intro and lead out, this is a perfect track to drop into your set to mix for a crowd, radio set, or mix tape for your friends. Smooth sounds that follow the beats to a tea, build-ups and drop-offs in all the right spots, and tasty melodies.... What more could you ask for? Production is fantastic as well defiantly one for the hard drive.

Take Tiesto and mix in house and what you'd end up with is "Life Goes On". The sounds in the percussion are something that you will hear on "Elements of Life". The vocals are so sweet in this track, and the bass line is simple but so effective. With electric piano and strings in the background to add elements, the bass just drives this track. I am very impressed, and so should you be. This is another one for the list.

"Morning Light" starts off with a feel of electro house but slides right back into house with a thumping bass line and driving kick. The Rhodes are to be found here, taking up the major melody of the track. Sweet, sweet vocal stabs drop in from time to time, then a beautiful portamento melody drops in halfway through the track and leaves you wanting more. It is a more lounge track that'd be great to drop in as your last track as the next DJ is ready to take over.

Overall, I am very impressed with this release. It's definitely one to purchase. Good job, Tim Richards and Galvanic.
