Don your best suit and grab a pair of sneakers because this Ocean's 11 flavored house track is a combination of attitude and cool.

One or two tracks from Zeilenga's In Medias Res have more replay value than probably your whole library of CDs!

I just couldn't quite connect with this one. Very esoteric and "out there", but not something I'd pop into my player often, if at all. The music is well done, just not in a style I can personally appreciate.

One of the main reasons I love ambient and chill-out music is because of the seemingly consistent relation to movie soundtracks. There is something about the sounds and compositions in this genre of electronica that make me think of movies and storylines and drama.

This review will be a bit different from my usual reviews. I’m not going to “easy” or anything like that, but it is a bit different. First, it is very appropriate that this CD demo is being reviewed in an issue that features an article about making and shopping demos to labels.

Telepopmusik has been around for a few years now and came to my attention with the track Breathe which I believe was featured in a major car ad campaign (Mitsubishi). I was immediately drawn to their subtle mix of futuristic music and somewhat yesteryear stylings.

This certainly sounded interesting when I picked it up the other day. Hmm… Chill and House… Chill House! I really had high hopes for this release but alas, it was not to be fulfilled. The CD is a sampler of different groups doing variations on this theme of chill house. Unfortunately, this is a collection of good ideas that really needs much more polish and depth to be commercially viable on larger scale.

This is something I waited WEEKS to get in my clammy little fingers and listen to. I ordered through Flaming Fish in Canada and it does take a while to get to our little island paradise here in the South Pacific. Ah well, delayed gratification can be a good thing.

This release is the latest release from the group that brought us the brilliant Lean On Me track that was remixed by Solarstone a couple of years back. This album is different as it taps into a more Dub
sound and is experimental in nature. Well programmed and well written music that is great to listen to may never make dance floor status as it is better suited to a Lounge night than House or any other style.
