I was having a discussion about Dubstep this past wednesday night with a friend of mine who's incredibly knowledgable on electronic music. I declared that "Dubstep is the new Techno" basically meaning it's what people who don't know what electronic music is call EDM. She countered with "Dubstep is the new Speed Garage" meaning it's a highly trendy sort of music that'll have a big impact over a few years and then fade away as the glitterati of the genre move on to other things.

That being said....If you wanna do it, then do it. I'm not a big fan of it, but there's plenty of people out there who don't like breaks either. Just make sure it's good! ;)

As for the GD thing.... I wouldn't do it. To me, that's one of the strongest phrases you can use, because it's personally calling for God's judgement. I've used that word three times in my life. Twice were before I realized what i was saying... I regret both of those times. The other time was used in a quote.

And Daver...Is "Oh My God" really any different from "Oh My Gosh?" isn't the intent the same? Does substituting one word from another when the intention is glear make the usage any different?
