On 14th May my city here in Finland hosted another club night for the hearing impaired and those with other disabilities. My partner in crime, Weingro, and I were on the wheels of steel in the VIP lounge for 5 hours, so I'm bringing you the highlights of Weingro's favourite electro house. {enclose homegrown_ep14.mp3}
Called Sencity, the event caters to all five senses: featuring DJs, VJs, aroma jockeys, a vibrating dance floor, onsite massage therapists and hair stylists, and free food and ice cream. Some of you may recall I was involved last year, and was invited back for this year's event... so I called my buddy Weingro (not his real name) to join me in the VIP lounge.
Weingro is a lover of Jesus and has a taste for dirty, dirty electro music... I did my best to keep him under control, but he's an animal I tell ya. He's been holed up in his bedroom for a number of years, and this event marked his debut into the Finnish club scene... and the deaf club scene! Pretty wicked I reckon.
