Hour 1: Quillroader (http://www.quillroader.com )

Quillroader stated in 2004 after the band Dance in Motion called it quits and Stefan and Alfred, the band’s producers, decided to go on with producing under the alias: Quillroader. The music produced by Quillroader is a blend of house, progressive and trance. After releasing a few remixes for other artists, a radio station took notice of Quillroader and asked them to do a weekly dance program. The show, Yamix, has been on the air since the summer 2006.

In 2006, Quillroader also started performing live at festivals and in clubs. The show is based around the concept of a typical DJ set but includes a mixture live keys, guitar, drums and vocals to give a massive show. At the end of 2006, Quillroader released their first official single, “One More Chance”, which featured the stunning vocals of Morgan Casey.

Starting January 2007, Stefan and Alfred started with a new radio show called QR-Global, which is broadcasted global through a dozen of radio stations worldwide. Quillroader has also started producing like fools and so far have completed remixes for Tresice, Coretex, Clank & Major Pax. These tracks are expected to be released summer of 2007.

Hour 2: 3kStatic (http://www.3kstatic.com )

Formed in 1999 as an experiment in ‘post-Industrial house’, Sony BMG recording artist 3kStatic long ago staked its claim at the forefront of the deep alternative scene, gaining considerable acclaim in the music press - and improbable chart success - along the way.

Fueled by a combination of experimental music that explores virtually every form of progressive electronica and a stridently activist message,3kStatic has consistently stretched the bounds of electronic music to take a definitive place in a music space that all too-often is shapeless and faceless.

3kStatic is currently collaborating with current and former members of The Orchestra (formerly ELO, Part II), Petra, Kansas® and Glass Harp on a 2007 release that will also feature collaborations with Shelley Harland and producer Rom DiPrisco (Skinny Puppy).
