Night two continues this week with the return of Gospel House to Cornerstone. Several years ago, Chris and the crew from the Underground brought in DJ extraordinary Terrance Parker. From what I heard after the event, he absolutely melted the faces of the people there. Well, we haven’t brought Terrance back yet, but we might just have to next year. We did book the next best thing though and that’s DJ Marcuis. And… let me tell you, Marcuis could give Terrance a run for his money! {enclose ah2010_night2_marcuis.mp3}
Getting his start as a college DJ at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, Marcuis Wade (a.k.a. DJ Marcuis) has been a pure connoisseur of great music. With a college friend, DJ Marcuis began performing at local college parties in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
Devoting himself to finding radical Christian music, DJ Marcuis focuses on bringing a blend of gospel house, urban gospel, gospel reggae and holy hip hop. In 2007, DJ Marcuis created Cross Culture radio, a 1 hour radio program that featured the latest in urban gospel music seamless mixed on several stations on the east coast. Currently, DJ Marcuis continues to promote and expand Cross Culture Radio and minister across the east coast.
