Issue 28: Tastyfresh 2008 Community Survey with Giveaway
Written by Alex W, Sunday 16 November, 2008

Well, it’s that time again. November is here and this issue is the last issue of 2008. The holidays are just around the corner. I personally cannot wait. We have decided to end this year with a bit of a bang. We have partnered up with Nettwerk Records to give away 5 copies of Andy Hunter’s CD Colour and a copy of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed with Ben Stein. Only catch is, you have to take our end of the year survey. That’s not too much now is it?

Welcome to the new Tastyfresh.com!
Written by Alex W, Wednesday 17 September, 2008
Welcome to the new Tastyfresh.com! If you’re a regular to Tastyfresh.com, I bet you are thinking to yourself, “Wow.” And I completely understand. When I first saw the initial design months ago I thought the same thing. In those months, I have seen the evolution of the site to what it is right now and every time Dave informed me of a change, I got more excited. “But what is the real difference?” you may say. I am glad you asked.
Afterhours 2008
Written by Alex W, Wednesday 16 July, 2008
Two weeks ago, some of us here at Tastyfresh.com traveled, by plane, train or automobile, to Bushnell IL for the Cornerstone Music Festival and Afterhours 2008. Let me assure you that the trip from Virginia was worth it. This year passed all previous years in production, talent and every other aspect you could possibly imagine. When I heard that we had managed to book Topher Jones and Greg ‘Stryke’ Chin, I knew that this was going to be an amazing year for Afterhours. And that was just the beginning. When I arrived it was even better then I had expected.
Issue 25: Cornerstone
Written by Alex W, Friday 16 May, 2008
Cornerstone in Bushnell Ill. Afterhours. Tastyfresh.com Generator Statge. It is almost that time again boys and girls. Cornerstone is getting closer and closer and I am getting more and more excited. I was unable to attend last year since I had just returned from the UK, but I heard so many good stories I resolved to go in the next few years. Hopefully I will be able to sort things out and make it out there. I am so excited. This month we have an update on Afterhours, both good and bad. You will have to read to find out…
Issue 24: Cornerstone is coming...
Written by Alex W, Tuesday 18 March, 2008
I tell you what, it has been a crazy few weeks getting all the sections together for this issue as well as a few surprises. We have some great things lined up for you in this issue. The Tastyfresh.com staff and I have been hard at work planning the rest of this years magazine, Afterhours, as well as some things for the future of Tastyfresh.com.
The New Year, The Freshies and Colour
Written by Alex W, Tuesday 30 November, 1999

So, 2008 is upon us. Last year was a great year. I started it in England doing what I love, learning and talking about Jesus. Tastyfresh had a great year as well. I will miss last year, but I am incredibly excited about 2008. If we have half as good as a year this year, we are still in for a treat. But I know from hearing about this years plans for events, we will have an even better year. Which, for me, is hard to imagine.

Issue 22: Year's End and the Drop is Back
Written by Alex W, Sunday 18 November, 2007

Well this is it, the last issue of the Tastyfresh Magazine for 2007. It has been a great year for me. Taking over as the editor of the TF magazine has been straining at times. It certainly isn’t as easy as I hoped or thought it would be, but it is what it is and I love it. I have been very blessed to have been asked to take this over and run with it.

Issue 21: New Editor, New Column
Written by Alex W, Saturday 15 September, 2007

My name is Alex Wilson and as Dave Richardson announced last issue, I have taken over the reigns of the Tastyfresh.com magazine and let me tell you, the staff and I have got so much new stuff that I know you will love. But before going into all of the new things in this issue, I want to thank Dave Richardson for asking me to take this position. It is an honor and I will be doing my best to make this magazine better then ever. This issue is a bit small because I am still getting settled in. This issue also does not have a Drop. I am currently talking with a few people about editing that section. We are also already working on the next issue, so expect that one to be full of great stuff. Please bear with me for the time being.

Issue 20: Cornerstone and Changes in the Wind
Written by Dave Richards, Thursday 26 July, 2007

Well, this is it. You are now, finally, reading the annual Cornerstone Music Festival issue where we collectively recount what happened at this year’s EDM stage in that lovely place known as Bushnell, Il. This year was extremely different though since I was in charge, well… me and the BTU Posse and well… just about everyone who had a connection to Tastyfresh. Kevin and I did the bulk of the planning, Fitzpatrick and I handled the graphics, Jeremy Kadinger handled the generator stage to a level other stages only dreamed of and the list of workers goes on. I need to give a special thanks to Andy Turner of Deeplife Records who literally saved our generator stage when we lost our subwoofer during our first official set on the first day.

Issue #19: I Blame Cornerstone
Written by Dave Richards, Sunday 27 May, 2007

The BarnWell… it’s been a busy two months over here. So busy that in case you hadn’t noticed, I’m almost two weeks late getting this issue of the zine out to you. For that, I apologize. A large amount of the delay was definitely caused by me having to deal with some of the logistical needs of Cornerstone this year. One of the things we are doing in addition to just booking the talent is setting up a secondary generator stage. Beyond that, I’ve been working on rebranding the venue and working with the Flickerings group who uses the Barn as an ultra-cool movie house during the day to create a new sign and group of logos for our events. Now that all of that is out of the way, I just need to place some phone calls and emails and the event will be all set. Thanks for being patient with me.

Issue #18: Cornerstone & Podcasting
Written by Dave Richards, Monday 12 March, 2007

Well, it’s that time again. Time for me to write an intro to the latest TF mag. There’s always so much to talk about and it’s hard to focus on what aspect of life here at Tasty needs to be told. This time however, the story is simple and 2-fold: Cornerstone and the Podcast.

Issue #17
Written by Dave Richards, Monday 15 January, 2007

Has it been two months already? Is it a new year… again? Issue #17 huh? That many? Wow. We have been doing this for a while now. I should be used to this cycle. For some odd reason, this issue has been harder coming than others. Partly, I think it’s Christmas. At least I want to blame Christmas for the rush I feel I am in this time around. That’s not the only issue though.

Tastyfresh 2007
Written by Dave Richards, Wednesday 15 November, 2006

Well, here we are again. It’s the last issue of the year. It seems like I should have some feeling of finality regarding it. After all, it’s been a long and busy year here. Over the past year, we have published over 80 different articles, and reviews and that’s far from all the new content that was added this year. We started the long process of creating for the first time a comprehensive list of bios for EDM producers who are Christians, and we are just starting to scratch the surface with the initial 43 we currently have. Beyond that, we had a total redesign of the site from the ground up. I mean, as far as Tastyfresh.com was concerned, this was a huge year, and I should be ready to put things to rest for a while, right?

The Usual Fare, But This Time With Events
Written by Dave Richards, Friday 15 September, 2006

Well, this turned into a rather packed issue. I’ve got a ton of editing to do so I’ll keep my usual rant short this time. Let’s get this thing rolling.

Tastyfresh: Not an Army of One
Written by Dave Richards, Sunday 16 July, 2006

Well, it’s been two months now since the launch of the new Tastyfresh.com site. With that system we are FINALLY able to allow people other than, well me, to directly enter and edit content on this site. For this, we have to thank the Joomla! Content Management System that the site is now built on. I cannot begin to stress what a blessing this CMS is concerning my restraints on time. Now, what I really need are some people who are willing to help write new material for the site.

Blood, Sweat & Tears
Written by Dave Richards, Monday 15 May, 2006

Well, if you are a regular to the site, you’re probably asking yourself what just happened. About six months ago, I started the process of redesigning Tastyfresh.com. There were two main goals in the upgrade. First, I wanted to make editing easier so that I could hand parts of the site upkeep off. Second, I wanted to flesh out the site more. I wanted navigation that would really feed the content to the site’s users and I wanted to bring in more content to help people find the information they were seeking more easily. Let’s talk about two specific areas of improvement.

Please No More Photographs
Written by Dave Richards, Wednesday 15 March, 2006

Well, it’s the night before I launch this issue of the Tastyfresh.com zine. One thing that you may have noticed of late is that there are fewer and fewer photos. I believe there is only one in this issue outside of my mug shot to the left.

And With a New Year, Our Baby Turns Ten!
Written by Dave Richards, Sunday 15 January, 2006

It’s hard to believe, but in December of 2006, Tastyfresh will be ten years old. I don’t think that Jamey expected this place to last that long or even thought that far ahead when he started it. I know I didn’t even think about it when I took over a few years ago. Man, it’s been a few years now since I took over from Jamey hasn’t it.

Selling Out
Written by Dave Richards, Tuesday 15 November, 2005

I am so hopelessly addicted to Star Wars in general, that I just can’t stay away for long. I guess this is where the spiritual tie-in comes: I am hopelessly addicted to Star Wars, but I can’t honestly say the same about Jesus. I should be. I want to be, but I am constantly screwing up.

Broken Lives, Broken Links and this Issue
Written by Dave Richards, Thursday 15 September, 2005

Two weeks ago, Hurricane Katrina SLAMMED the Gulf Coast. Over half a million people were without power in that region. Homes all across the coast were destroyed. It didn’t matter if you were a poor family barely trying to make it by or US Senators. The storm destroyed literally everything.
