You are now looking at the fourth official release of the Tastyfresh.com Ezine. Yippee! A lot has changed in the past two months. I wish that we could have kept up a monthly publishing schedule, but I think the content of this issue more than makes up for it. Having two months to produce this material has made my life easier.

All together, we have about twelve solid articles, interviews and reviews waiting for you in this issue. But wait! There’s more. You can always discuss these articles in the forums. In fact, I want to encourage you to do that. First, we need the feedback from you. Second, without the discussions, the Ezine is useless. The sole purpose is to help us all to grow in our individual ministries. Those who write the articles for Tastyfresh.com do not have all the answers, just like you do not. Unless we share our thoughts and ideas on these subjects, we will stagnate. OK, enough preaching. Here’s what we have for you:
  • DJ Rish of Radio U has written a great article about the foundations of our Christian EDM industry.
  • I’ve written an article on attitudes and their importance to doing God’s will.
  • We have two interviews for you. Steve Jeffery of Rubik Records shares a bit about the label’s successes and struggles. We also caught up with Mike Sunglider of System 3 for some of the same info. Both interviews are amazing.
  • Coco Love has started a new department in the Ezine called Show Your Love. Each month she will be interviewing people to find out why they love EDM and how they came to discover it. This month, DJ Rish shares his story with us.
  • Forum member Proftech shares his testimony with us. This is a story of how he was set free from a homosexual lifestyle. It is definitely an interesting read.
  • Greg Young tells us in his own words how the ground breaking N*Soul Records production team of Virus has evolved into a new project known as Wormsign. Find out what he has to say and how to get the music.
  • In the review department this issue, we have reviews of the Osmotic Wave compilation and Fitzpatrick’s Fits Perfect albums. We also are starting to include mini-reviews for individual tracks by the DJs who spin them. This month DJs Mint, Bill Sikes and Himmel share some of their top finds from the past two months.
  • Free tracks. Check the home page for some free tracks. We have found links to more DJ Mark Hollinger tracks, some remixes by Ultrabeat, and of course the Wormsign Project.
  • And more…

That’s about it for this issue. There is one important and final thing that I need to discuss however: the DJ Contest. With a very sad heart, I am going to have to officially put it on hold. I personally do not have the time to pull this off in the manner that it needs to be handled. I had high hopes for it, but after a lot of prayer, finding out that I’m about to become a first time father and several attempts to find people to head it up, I do not feel that now is the right time to do this. I sincerely apologize for letting everyone down on this. It is still on the wish list though so there is hope that one day down the road we will have one on this site. Until that time, keep honing your skills. There is a ton of talent on this site and we need to get it exposed.

I hope you enjoy reading this issue of the Tastyfresh.com Ezine. Please remember to comment in the forums regarding what you read. Let’s get a big discussion going! Also, please thank Coco Love, DJ Rish, DJ Mint, Bill Sikes, DJ Himmel, Proftech, Greg Young, Steve Jeffery, Mike Sunglider, and anybody I have forgotten for making this issue of the Ezine possible. It truly would not exist without their contributions or the contributions of those before them.

May God bless both you and your families,

David Richardson
