Afterhours Volume 2 Track Listing Announced

Afterhours Vol. 2

Today, I am proud to announce the track listing for this year’s compilation CD. For those of you, who contributed financially to the CD, thank you. Your copies will be in the mail after the festival and I promise that I’ll take them out of the box before I leave so you definitely have them. This year we had more than thirty tracks submitted and Joel meticulously sifted and sorted his way through them until he had just the right quality and blend of music to put together a CD that outshines our previous volume. With artist representation from at least 5 countries and 3 continents, once again we are spanning the globe with some of the finest Christian EDM written in the last year or so. Enough with the fluff, here’s the track list:

01. Future Funk (Original Mix) / J. Davis [Illectronica/ILLECT]
02. AudioTrack 07 (Original Mix) / Bore [Illectronica/ILLECT]
03. Untitled / Joel Armstrong
04. Hiding In Your Love (Deep Mix) / Georg Neufeld feat. Coco Street
05. Antioch (Original Mix) / Secret Archives of the Vatican [Broken Drum Records]
06. Bridge / Matthew Hyatt [Giantslayers]
07. Amor De Hermanos (Original Mix) / Van Lazarux [Next Dimension Music]
08. Drop Wind (Original Mix) / Aesias Finale [PWM Records]
09. Bass Slam (Reborn Remix) / Chriz P [PWM Records]
10. Once Over Tokyo (Original Mix) / Noah Deep
11. Spring (Original Mix) / Dima
12. Wall Breaker (Original Mix) / Gerwin Koudijs
13. Eternal Love (Original Mix) / Ampkontrol
14. Lost (Radio Mix) / Jason Bradberry [Silk Digital]
15. Intralude (Extended) / Joel Armstrong

Compiled and mixed by Joel Armstrong [Dot Dot]

I want to take one last moment to thank the artists who did make the cut this year. Ya’ll done good work. Joel, thank you so much for adding this project to your already busy schedule. To all the labels who worked with us, thank you.

Now, for those of you who either did not financially support the CD or did not appear on the compilation, there’s only one place for you to get a copy and that’s at the Cornerstone Music Festival in Bushnell, Il from June 30th through July 3rd at the Afterhours Dance Club. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you there.

Joel Armstrong hails from Vancouver. In 2005, Joel went on to release a highly anticipated track on new label Proton Music, called Serenity, a track that Progressive Sounds dubbed 'truly astounding,' and gave a perfect 10/10 review. The following year saw two more of Joel's originals, Park Street and Silvermoon, get picked up by label Babylon Records. In 2006 Joel teamed up with fellow producer, Micah, to help run A&R and remix duties for label Ruhnsong Recordings. A collaborative remix between Micah and Joel, of Baltic Sound's original track Glimmer, saw its way into Markus Schulz Ibiza 06 Mix Compilation. In spring of 2007, Baroque Records released another of Joel's original works, After Later, which was licensed for use on Shiloh's Elements Mix Compilation.
